 Có thể thấy mặc dù cùng kết thúc là "-age" (thậm chí 2 từ chỉ khác nhau ở 1 nguyên âm đầu tiên), nhưng cách đọc cho đuôi "-age" hoàn toàn khác nhau. Và không có quy luật nào rõ ràng để chỉ ra khi nào đọc là /ɑː(d)ʒ/ khi nào đọc là /ɪdʒ/ cả.

đuôi -age đọc giống trong message.
